“Transcendence” Red Carpet Premiere
Star-studded premiere last night of “Transcendence” at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood, CA. As expected, there were a lot of people who came in to see Johnny Depp in person. This is now my third time to see him in a celebrity event and the joy and excitement I feel when he’s near is no different from the first time! Ohhh Johnnyyy.
The presence of God was felt by everyone once this man stepped out of the car.

Surprise appearances are always AMAZING and sometimes, CRAZY! In every premiere I go to, I try not to close my eyes. I try not to fall asleep coz I DON’T WANNA MISS A THING. And I’m so glad I didn’t! Here’s Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler arriving after a lot of people have already left. He just popped out of nowhere! So glad we stayed!

A Look Back At The First Hunger Games Red Carpet Premiere
The Los Angeles red carpet premiere of Hunger Games: Catching Fire is less than a week away! In a few days, fans will start setting up their campsites outside the Nokia Theater in L.A. Live, a familiar scenario for Twihards, and a totally new experience for Hunger Games fanatics. The red carpet premiere for the first Hunger Games movie was held last March 12, 2012. I was lucky to be part of it and it was, in fact, my first ever red carpet experience. There was no camping out whatsoever, I got there a few hours before the start of the arrivals and I still got in a pretty good spot.
I didn’t know any of the main actors of the film, so I just kept taking pictures of whomever I saw who happened to be in fancy clothes. Jennifer Lawrence looked really pretty in that gold dress. Back then, she was just another actress to me. Now, she’s one of my favorite Hollywood celebrities. What a difference a year and a half makes!

Thor: The Dark World Red Carpet Premiere
Huge premiere last night of Thor: The Dark World at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, CA. Headlined by the Hemsworth brothers, Chris and Liam, also in attendance were Stan Lee, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Jamie Alexander, Jeremy Renner, Kat Dennings, Zachary Levi, “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg, Brett Dalton, Ming-Na Wen, and many others. Although Natalie Portman was not around, it was still a great night seeing all the stars in once place.

Star Trek Into Darkness Red Carpet Premiere

Oblivion Red Carpet Premiere
Nevermind everything else, I got a picture with Tom Cruise.

Oh yeah and I saw God in person. He gave us humans a thumbs up.

This was actually my second time to meet Tom (so we’re first name basis now lol). First time was during the Rock of Ages Premiere:
He is one of the nicest man in Hollywood when it comes to dealing with fans. He arrives an hour or so earlier than the rest of the cast just so he can sign autographs and take pictures with the crowd. Plus, he is super friendly and easy to talk with! He takes his time signing for everyone, with his helpful assistants around him to accommodate fans’ requests. Being a guy from the Philippines, a country that’s thousands of miles away from the US and where we only see these stars on TV and the big screen, seeing a Hollywood celebrity in person is a dream come true. I never thought I’ll see the biggest star of them all but here he is, right by my side and smiling with me! These surely are events I’ll remember for the rest of my life!

Gangster Squad Red Carpet Premiere
Just by looking at the movie poster and seeing all those names and faces, you can already tell that this premiere was going to be packed… and damn right it was! Also, by looking at the second name on that list, you can tell that a lot of the people attending will be women. And yup, the screams were deafening as Ryan Gosling arrived and signed for the fans.
Ohhhhhh. It was so nice to be face to face with Babyface Ryan! It was just like looking in front of the mirror! Well, not really.
He arrived earlier than the other big celebrities and it’s funny because I noticed the crowd somewhat got cut in half after he waved buh-bye to the them. It’s pretty obvious who they came here for, isn’t it? Ryan Gosling’s got the sex appeal not so many people can match, that’s for sure.
We haven’t even started yet! Let’s now take a look at the movie trailer of Gangster Squad:
Here’s the adorable Emma Stone.
A near-accident was witnessed as she was signing autograph for the fans. The barricade that separated her from the crowd almost fell towards her, good thing was that the security guys were fast enough to stop it. If they were just half a second late, that thing would have hurt Emma right away or even if it didn’t, there was no doubt that injuries will have been inflicted to some members of the crowd. Hooray for fast reflexes. Boo for poor quality control.
I just finished having a movie marathon the other day, Ted and Saving Private Ryan were both included in it so I still pretty much have a Giovanni Ribisi overload in my brain and look who’s here! Giovanni Ribisi!
I just love that face he was making. I’ll call that the Giovanni look from now on.
Michael Peña. I just met him a couple of months ago at the End of Watch premiere. Boy somebody’s been busy!
In the same premiere I also saw this guy, Danny Masterson.

Javier Bardem Gets A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
Congratulations to Señor Javier Bardem for receiving the 2,484th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! We have an international cast for this induction ceremony: We have Mr. Bardem who is from Spain; director of Skyfall and guest speaker Sam Mendes is from England; then the two new Bond Girls in attendance are Berenice Marlohe from France and Naomie Harris from England. I was kinda hoping to see Javier’s wife and fellow Spaniard, Penelope Cruz as well but it was said that she was busy filming during this event. One more person I wanted to see: Daniel Craig! It’s a long shot but hey, they’re promoting Skyfall at the same time so who knows?
The first one to arrive was Skyfall Director, Sam Mendes. He went on to sign some autograph for the fans.
And then there was Naomie Harris.
Her face looked familiar even if I’ve never seen or heard about her before. Then I realized she was Tia Dalma from Pirates of the Caribbean, one of my favorite movies of all time! Wow, I’m an idiot haha. She sure looked different without the dreadlocks and the black lips!
Berenice Marlohe then came at the same time as Javier Bardem. I gotta say, this new Bond Girl stole the show! She was so GORGEOUS in person! I think I’m in love!
It’s funny because I saw some photographers taking more pictures of her than Javier Bardem. It’s like, “Ah I already got my shot of him, I’ll now focus on the things that interest me.”
And in this photo, all she did was hold on to that post and smile and voila! An instant high fashion shoot for the photographers!
The ceremony started and Sam Mendes took the stage. Part of the speech was about Javier dyeing his hair blonde for the new Bond movie, then entering the set and nobody recognizing him. I checked the trailer again today, he does look different! I think I dig the darker hair though. What do you think?
The guys then shared a big hug.

Haha look at that. Sam Mendes looks like he’s saying “oooh yeah I’m touching Naomie’s tummy!”
At this point I just badly wanted to have a picture with the super beautiful Berenice Marlohe. I was worried I wasn’t going to get one because she was on the other side but then she got closer and closer until she was on our side! Woohoo! Some stupid guy from the press with his iPad kept blocking my sight of her (for Christ’s sake, please don’t shoot with your iPad when you got people behind you!) but then when I called her she did respond and I finally got a picture with her!
She asked me if my camera was working because it didn’t flash. I said, “hmm let me see…” then I checked the LCD and yup it worked just fine and I showed it to her. We smiled together. Aww. We shared a moment. An even bigger story is that our faces were literally five inches away while we were exchanging words. In my fantasy we were already French kissing haha. I wish it happened in real life!
She got back to me after some time and we had another photo. This time, I had my flash on.
One photo means it’s a photo op, two photos means we’re close. Now we’re close. I’ll call her Berber from now on.

On The Road Red Carpet Premiere
Welcome to the AFI Fest 2012! 6 gala premieres in 8 days. Hitchcock premiered last Thursday (Nov. 1), then Life of Pi on Friday, and then On The Road yesterday. I went to the Hitchcock premiere and I got disappointed for not seeing any of their big stars. Anthony Hopkins and the other stars were apparently filming that day while Jessica Biel was on honeymoon. Good for them but what a waste of my time! I wish I was the one she’s on honeymoon with instead haha. I was wondering if any of the stars would show up for this one. I already got the idea that this festival is not taken as seriously by the actors compared to other gala premieres. It’s still nice to be optimistic though. Looking forward to seeing Kristen Stewart! As we all know, The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 is premiering in a couple of days and there’s no hotter names in Hollywood than these Twilight peeps right now. People from all over the world are now on their way to LA to witness the ensemble hit the red carpet in this one momentous occasion for the very last time. Due to previous commitments, I will not be around for that one so to all of you campers, have fun and enjoy the premiere!
Okay back to On The Road. This film is directed by Walter Salles. Along with Stewart, it also stars Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley and Amy Adams with Viggo Mortensen and Kirsten Dunst. Here’s the trailer:
I also really wanted to see Viggo Mortensen as I am a big fan of The Lord of The Rings. He was a no show though, as well as Sam Riley and Kirsten Dunst. But I’ll tell you who’s there, the star of the film, Garrett Hedlund!
Let’s see who else. Oh, Amy Adams!
And last one. Whew. I’m just so glad she came! I might miss the Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere but at least I won’t be missing all of it for here right in front of my very eyes (or camera lens) is Kristen Stewart!!!

Ted Red Carpet Premiere
This is a big day for Family Guy fans. Its mastermind, Seth MacFarlane is premiering his first ever motion picture. He’s had a tremendous success on TV despite the criticism of the content and humor of his shows (which I love to death) and now it’s time for him to test his comedic genius on the big screen.

I’m posting this very late and I guess most of you have already watched the movie. I still haven’t, sadly! I’m still waiting for the DVD release which is coming out on December 11, 2012. Pretty long wait but it’s all worth it!
