This is the first post-Daylight Savings Time premiere of the year that Im attending. That means the arrivals are happening while the sun is still up. Not really a big deal but I like it because I can see the celebrities much better. This is also my first post where I’m using my new Canon 6D.
And now, let the magic happen!
Steve Carell walks straight to the crowd to sign autographs
Alan Arkin loves the people. Here, he’s taking photos of people who are taking photos of him. Would be interesting to see the ones he took. We’re probably all there!
David Copperfield arrives with French model, Chloe Gosselin. Legit magician in the house!
The beautiful Olivia Wilde. So beautiful on screen, so beautiful in real life!
We were told that there’s no Steve Buscemi appearance so sorry to Enoch ‘Nucky’ Thompson fans. Maybe next time.
And now, here’s my favorite comedian of all time. The funniest man alive, JIM CARREY!!!! He’s walking normally, but subconsciously I can see him walk the way Ace Ventura does. I love that movie! And I love this man!
Being face to face with him is amazing! He’s so full of energy, very Jim Carrey!
A big bonus before the arrivals ended. This I didn’t expect… Steven Tyler! Good thing I didn’t leave early, and good thing I DIDN’T MISS A THING! (Ha. That’s the best way I could insert that line.)
See you again on the next red carpet premiere!
Movie 43. So many stars in one movie and I’m really curious how it would turn out! Richard Gere, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Emma Stone, Uma Thurman, Kate Winslet, and so on and so forth. The list of stars never ends! Is it going to be one of the most successful comedy movie of all time? Or is it going to blow? Starpower does not always necessarily mean success, I mean, look at the Lakers now. All those talents, wrongfully utilized. How can you have Kobe and Pau and Dwight and Steve Nash and MWP in one team and still suck?! It’s unimaginable. Anyways, I’m getting off topic now. Here’s the trailer for Movie 43…
I was highly skeptical about all those stars showing up for the red carpet premiere so I tried not to expect too much to avoid disappointment. The arrivals were scheduled to start around 6:30 pm and I got there at 6:28, which was really late since you have to be at least 2 hours early if you want to get a pretty decent spot for your stargazing. I got to stand far far away from the carpet, so please enjoy my ugly pictures. Ha.
Roastmaster Jeff Ross was the first one I saw, he was doing interviews for a segment on his new show on Comedy Central, The Burn With Jeff Ross. He’s in almost every picture that I’m posting here so if we change the title of this blog to The Burn With Jeff Ross, it can actually still work!
Here he is with Rusty Cundieff
Jackass Director, Jeff Tremaine
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air‘s Alfonso Ribeiro
Rules of Engagement‘s Patrick Warburton. He’s also the voice of Joe Swanson on Family Guy, my favorite show in the world
Basketball Player, Larry Sanders (Milwaukee Bucks)
Hip hop Artist and Actor, Common
Wayne Brady with daughter Maile Masako
Andy Dick and his middle finger
Skating Legend Tony Hawk
So many more celebrities attended this star studded event, I just stopped shooting as this was star overdose for me already. Jeff Ross overdose too. I didn’t want to sleep and dream about Jeff Ross. The A-Listers Richard Gere, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and company were noticeably absent so fans who were wanting to see them were probably disappointed but then the number of B-, C-, and D-Listers who attended may have compensated that for some. For me, it was a really fun night. I think seeing Joe Swanson in person was the highlight as I’m a huge Family Guy fan.
Please don’t forget to watch Movie 43! Now Showing!
Please don’t forget to watch The Burn with Jeff Ross as well! —>Says Jeff Ross.
